Professor Natalie Hammond – Executive Nurse

Natalie Hammond is Executive Nurse of the Board of Directors for EPUT and is the lead for end of life care at the Trust.

Natalie has responsibility for the professional leadership of the nursing, allied health professionals and psychology workforce ensuring care is delivered with compassion and safely meeting the high quality standards to our service users. Specific responsibility for safety, service user experience and outcomes. Executive responsibility for safeguarding and infection control.

Natalie was involved in the development of National Guidance for reducing restrictive practice at the Department of Health; Independent Police Commission Mental Health Deaths in Custody.

Previously a consultant nurse for the promotion of safe and therapeutic services specifically at reducing harm to patients in South London and Maudsley NHS Trust.
