Jason Gunn

I have over 20 years’ experience in the teaching profession, I was an assistant Head Teacher and school Governor. I currently volunteer for EPUT and sit on the Hospital Directorate for another Trust, providing a patients perspective.

I have a passion for diversity, disability and inclusion driven by my own lived experience of having a spinal cord injury and the challenges I have faced. Because of this I have a strong belief in good integrated care. 

I strongly believe in good governance and feel that trusts can adapt and grow from listening to the views of their service users. I have a good understanding of both accountability and responsibility and feel that my life skills will bring another useful dimension to governance.

I feel that my life skills, strategic and academic backgrounds will further enhance the Trust.
