Nadiene Birch

I am standing as governor because I have a wide amount of knowledge to bring to the role. My first contact with NEP was in 2004 as an inpatient. Since then I have remained a service user but more importantly I worked for 4 years on a voluntary basis at head office, providing help and support with tasks; such as interviewing new Staff, speaking at induction days, telling my own personal experiences to university students and in governors meetings and supporting the Trust at events, such as World Mental health day and award ceremonies. I will bring a unique perspective to this role being able to use all of my experiences – good and bad, to improve communications and genuinely try to make a positive difference.
