Working at EPUT

#WeAreEPUT – providing community health, mental health and learning disability services across Bedfordshire, Essex and Suffolk.

We employ almost 6,000 people working across more than 200 sites.

Our vision is “working to improve lives” and we work to achieve this in line with our organisational values of being compassionate, open and empowering.

We need highly skilled and motivated people working in our teams, so we can deliver outstanding care to the people who use our services.

Working for us

Our staff deserve the very best.

We offer a range of staff benefits including flexible working and excellent training and career development opportunities.

Each year we ask our staff to tell us what it is like to work at our Trust, through the NHS Staff Survey. You can read our latest report from the 2020 staff survey.

Step into Health

We are supporting Step into Health, a nationwide campaign which supports the Armed Forces community to provide career development and opportunities within our NHS Trust.

The programme was developed in conjunction with The Royal Foundation and Walking With The Wounded. Step into Health provides a dedicated pathway for the Armed Forces community to access the numerous career opportunities available in the NHS.

The programme is open to all service leavers and veterans and their spouses and partners.

A thank you to our mental health nurses

Providing mental health care is vital and we need our mental health workforce now more than ever. The mental health sector is rapidly expanding and we are looking for more dedicated and talented people to join our ranks. There has never been a better time to join the sector. Check the Health Career website for information on mental health nursing roles and training, and NHS Jobs for currently available positions.
