November 23, 2021

As part of a Big Weekend Event taking place across Mid and South Essex this weekend, we are pleased to announce we will be parking our Community Vaccination Bus at Chelmsford City Racecourse on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November from 10am to 5pm.

We will be offering bookable appointments, which you can book ahead of the weekend by clicking here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/eputs-big-vaccination-weekend-saturday-27th-sunday-28th-november-tickets-215652742157 as well as walk-in appointments on the day, which will be on a first come first served basis.

We will also have more capacity for vaccines at our all our vaccination centres across Mid and South Essex.

Alistair Farquharson Centre in Thurrock, The Lodge in Runwell, Southend Civic Centre in Victoria Avenue and Tyler’s Ride in South Woodham Ferrers are open to both pre-booked appointments and walk in appointments which will be on a first come, first serve basis on both Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November from 8.30 to 7.30.

Runnymede Hall in Thundersley will only be open on Sunday 28 November from 8.30am to 7.30pm for pre-booked appointments and walk in appointments which again will be on a first come, first serve basis.

There may be a wait at all our centres and the community bus while everyone is vaccinated safely and in line with social distancing rules. While the weather is getting colder, it is advised anyone using the walk-in service dress appropriately, bring a drink and even something to sit on, in case there is a queue.
