Attending monthly Board Meeting for the urgent community response team, south east Essex
You will need to have experience of using community health services in South East Essex and be able to attend the meetings online via Microsoft Teams. The activity will involve sharing experiences of using community health services in South East Essex. Based on experience, advise the Head of Urgent Community Response Team (UCRT) Services and Programme Board what you think will and will not work locally; and how they can improve the quality of care that is provided and the experience of those using the services.
It is necessary for all volunteers and lived experience ambassadors to complete the required checks needed for their role or activity. The level of checks will be dependent on whether the volunteer/lived experience ambassador is working with vulnerable adults or children or on a supervised or unsupervised basis.
The checks consist of:
- References (Employment/Character)
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate (in some cases)
- Occupational Health Clearance
