We are holding drop-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics at most of our vaccination centres across Essex and Suffolk.
Many of our walk-in vaccination clinics are offering first and second doses of vaccine, as well as third primary doses and boosters for those eligible.
Please check the clinic you plan to attend is suitable for you. Some clinics may only offer booster vaccines, or may only be open to adults. If you are unable to find a suitable clinic at your chosen venue, please try to pre-booking an appointment by visiting www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or calling 119.
If you plan to attend a walk-in clinic, please bring your NHS number and ID with proof of your age (for example, driving licence or passport).
Some people with a weakened immune system are being offered a third primary dose of COVID-19 vaccine. If you’re eligible for a third primary dose, your GP or hospital consultant should contact you to let you know. If you choose to attend a walk-in clinic for your third dose, please bring this letter with you.
- Opening hours of walk-in sessions depend on the number of people turning up on the day and on vaccine supply.
- People without booked appointments will be vaccinated on a first come, first served basis and the walk-in clinic will close once all vaccinations available for the day have been administered.
- Capacity for walk-ins is limited on some days, and you may need to wait to be vaccinated, or you may be unable to get your vaccine on your chosen day.
While the weather is getting colder, please dress appropriately, bring a drink and something to sit on if you feel you may need it.
To minimise wait times and avoid disappointment, we recommend booking in advance if you are able. You can book online via the NHS website, or call 119.
