This role will allow you to develop your leadership and professional skills. Manage a team, be champion a culture of change and have an impact day to day.

In this role, you will provide clinical leadership to a team of nurses in an acute setting during the assessment, implementation and evaluation of care plans for individual service users.

As a key worker, you will advise and support colleagues and assist the ward manager in setting and maintaining high standards of care and evaluating quality outcomes.

You will teach and supervise the team, including qualified and non-qualified learners and take charge of the unit in the absence of the person with continuing responsibility.

You will support the training and education of learners allocated to the Mental Health Service, and to encourage integration between the Ward team and the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment team.

This role is perfect for you if you are:

  • Experienced Band 5 RMN ENB 998 or equivalent
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment and have excellent risk assessment skills
  • Communicate with ease, show genuine compassion for our service users and share our commitment and enthusiasm to achieve the best outcome.
  • Have deep knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act
  • Truly understand the Recovery Model approach and philosophy of the 6 Cs of care.
  • Highly motivated and interested in post-qualifying continued learning and professional growth.
