Celebrate International Nurses Day at Saffron Walden Community Hospital

South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust staff based at Saffron Walden Community Hospital will once again be celebrating International Nurses’ Day, with a public event on Wednesday 14 May.

As it is the 100 year anniversary of the beginning of World War One the nursing staff will be dressed up in the fashions of 1914. There will be exhibitions of memorabilia, autobiographies and information about the role nurses played during WW1. And some amazing raffle prizes to be won, all donated by local businesses.

Staff and members of the public are welcome to come along and take part in the many events taking place in the outpatients department between 14:00 – 16:00.
