Celebrate the first year of EPUT at Annual Members Meeting

Everyone is welcome to attend the first Annual Members Meeting of Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT). It will be held on Wednesday 17 October 2018 (14:00 – 16:30) at Hamptons Sports and Leisure Club, Tydemans, Great Baddow, Chelmsford, CM2 9FH. Refreshments (tea and cake) will be served from 13:30 – 14:00.

The joint Annual Members and Council of Governors Meeting is the first of its kind since the merger of South Essex Partnership University Foundation Trust (SEPT) and North Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (NEP).

The meeting will be led by Trust Chair, Professor Sheila Salmon who will give the opening remarks.

Sally Morris, Chief Executive of EPUT will talk about the first year of EPUT and about the Trust’s plans for the future. Ms Morris will also present the first Annual Report of EPUT.

A presentation of the Trust’s Annual Accounts will be made by Mark Madden, Executive Chief Finance Officer and Resources Officer.

Natalie Hammond, Executive Director of Nursing will present the Quality Accounts which will cover patient care and service improvement initiatives.

There will also be a report from the Auditors, a report from the Council of Governors and a presentation from the Samaritans.

There will be information stands from various exhibitors including: the Council for Voluntary Services (CVS), MIND, Pohwer, Samaritans, Action for Family Carers, EPUT Freedom to Speak Up Guardian and Employment Specialists from the Trust.

Those who attend will have opportunities to ask the Board of Directors questions which will be answered after the meeting.
