Colleagues join community vigil in remembrance of Sir David Amess MP
Staff from Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) joined the local community to light candles in Southend in a moment of respect for Sir David Amess MP.
Colleagues working at the town’s COVID-19 vaccination centre joined MPs, local councillors and members of the public at a vigil held at the Civic Centre on Saturday, 16 October.
Paul Scott, Chief Executive of Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Sir David Amess MP was incredibly supportive of the NHS and a great advocate of mental health services across Essex. My colleagues and I extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends at this very sad time.”
