EPUT appoints new Chief Operations Officer
Alex Green has been appointed as the new permanent Chief
Operations Officer of Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT).
Alex brings a wealth of experience to the role having worked in health and social care for more than 25 years. She was previously Director of Health and Care Delivery for west Essex at EPUT and Essex County Council.
EPUT Chief Executive Paul Scott said: “We are delighted to have Alex now as a permanent member of the executive team. Over the last couple of months, she has demonstrated her extensive experience and is highly regarded across the health system. Her passion, knowledge and commitment will be invaluable assets to the team as we work towards achieving our ambition of providing the best and safest care possible for our patients.”
Commenting on her appointment, Alex said: “I am very proud to have been appointed at such an exciting and ambitious time for health and care.
“I am passionate about continually improving our services for all our patients and look forward to working with EPUT colleagues, our patients and partners to ensure that the care we provide is the best it can be.”
Alex oversees mental health, community physical health and learning disability services across the Trust. She was appointed as interim Chief Operations Officer at EPUT in October and has now been permanently appointed to the role following a competitive process.
