EPUT staff support Southend Pride

Colleagues from our LGBTQ+ Staff Equality Network will be joining the Southend Pride Festival on Saturday 15 July.

The volunteers will host a stall at the event in Warrior Square Gardens between 12pm and 8pm, where visitors can find out more about the Trust, career opportunities and the support we offer LGBTQ+ colleagues.

The Trust’s LGBTQ+ Staff Equality Network represents colleagues who are lesbian, gay, bi, trans or other sexual orientation or gender identity.

They help inform the decisions we make and shape improvements to ensure we are as fully inclusive as possible.

We also train our workforce to help them provide person-centred care to members of the LGBTQ+ community accessing our services.
