EPUT to host its first dementia fayre in Uttlesford next month
Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) will be hosting its first dementia fayre in Uttlesford next month.
The free event will provide information about the support and activities available for people living with dementia, their carers, members of the public and healthcare workers.
We will be joining a number of organisations to hold the event in Stansted Mountfitchet on 16 April.
They include United in Kind, Alzheimer’s Society, Action For Family Carers, Uttlesford Dementia Friendly Communities, Forget Me Not Dementia Café, Age UK, Essex Police and many more.
Visitors will be able to take part in taster sessions or listen to talks, including Sing for the Brain (hosted by the Alzheimer’s Society), chair exercises (led by CST Today), hear about Namaste Dementia Care at St Clare’s Hospice, and find out about how EPUT is working with patients to record their life stories.
There will also be free refreshments and cake.
The Uttlesford Dementia Fayre will take place between 10.30am and 12.30pm on 16 April at the Quaker Meeting House, 71 Chapel Hill, Stansted Mountfitchet, CM24 8AE.
