Ford RideLondon-Essex taking place 24-26 May

Ford Ride London-Essex takes place in London and Essex from Friday May 24 to Sunday May 26.

The event will significantly impact travel around parts of Essex. No area will have road closures on more than one day. All local hospitals will be accessible throughout the event. Provision is in place for care providers to make home visits as planned.

Areas affected:

  • Friday May 24 - Saffron Walden, Uttlesford, Braintree, Tendring and Colchester
  • Saturday May 25 – Maldon, Braintree and Chelmsford and Colchester
  • Sunday May 26 – Epping Forest, Chelmsford, Braintree and Uttlesford

Please attend your appointment as usual unless otherwise notified.

Special access to St Margaret's Hospital during road closure times on Sunday 28 May will be from the north via a controlled gate at Thornwood Common on the B1393. Visits to the Epping Forest Unit and Mental Health Unit at St Margaret’s will not be allowed before 2pm, unless in exceptional circumstances.
