LEAGUE OF FRIENDS DONATE EQUIPMENT

The League of Friends of Saffron Walden Hospital kindly purchased a new naso-pharyngo-laryngoscope which was presented to Mr. Patrick Axon (ENT Consultant) by Avril Brookes; Secretary to the League of Friends.

The naso-pharyngo-laryngoscopeis a fibre optic endoscope which is used for examining the Nasopharynx and Larynx. It enables a more thorough examination to be performed than is possible with a mirror

The money was raised by grateful patients through raffles, coffee mornings and proceeds from the League of Friends shop within the hospital.

Every time you purchase something from the Hospital shop you contribute to the fundraising efforts and help fund equipment purchases.
