Let’s talk about caring for the dying at Board Meeting
A key subject at this month’s Board Meeting at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust 9EPUT) is End of Life Care.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Public Board Meeting on Wednesday 27 February 2019 (10:30am – 13:00pm) at The Lodge, Lodge Approach, Wickford, Essex, SS11 7XX.
Tracy Reed, Clinical Lead for End of Life Care and Ann Nugent, Associate Director at EPUT will give an update about end of life care; identifying new initiatives and the progress made over the past year.
Tracy Reed, Clinical Lead for End of Life Care at EPUT said:
“Death, dying and bereavement are important elements of health care but very much a taboo subject. If we can support people to live with long term conditions and deterioration of their health, then we can support them to live well and to die well by making plans and understanding their condition and expectations.”
Those who attend will get to find out about new developments at the Trust and also ask questions at the end of the meeting.
