Local NHS Public Board of Directors Meeting

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) is holding a public meeting of the Board of Directors at 10:30 on 28 June 2017 at The Lodge, Lodge Approach, Wickford, Essex, SS11 7XX.

The agenda includes a presentation on Integrated Neighbourhood Working across South East Essex delivered by Mousumi Basu, CQUIN Lead Integrated Neighbourhood Teams and Beverley Blackwell, Modern Matron, Integrated Adult Community Services.

The EPUT led imitative sees local health, social care and well-being staff from different specialities and organisations (who may each have been looking after the same person individually) into a single client-focused local team.

EPUT was formed on 1 April 2017 following the merger of North Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (NEP) and South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (SEPT) providing community health, mental health and learning disability services for a population of approximately 2.5 million people throughout Bedfordshire, Essex, Suffolk and Luton.

As an NHS Foundation Trust, EPUT is run locally, not by Government, and must work closely with the local community to develop services in a way that best suits the needs of local people.

If you are over the age of 12 you are eligible to become a member of the Trust. You can join by calling the membership office free on 0800 023 2059 or by logging on to www.eput.nhs.uk.
