Our Annual Members' Meeting 2018-19: We will showcase our young people's involvement in developing their mental health services
The involvement of young people in developing their mental health services will be showcased at our 2018-19 annual members’ meeting.
Clinical Unit Manager Louise Summers and Matron Adele Brignell will give a presentation on the subject at our AMM on Wednesday (16 October) at Hamptons Sports and Leisure, off Beehive Lane, in Great Baddow, Chelmsford, CM2 9FH.
They will talk about how our child and adolescent mental health inpatient service, rated ‘outstanding’ this week by the Care Quality Commission, is committed to listening to and involving the young people we treat.
Louise and Adele will say evidence shows that services do more good and achieve better results when their patients are involved.
They will also talk about how we have improved our young people’s services thanks to advice from our young patients.
We hope that putting our mental health services for young people under the spotlight will encourage you to join us from 1.45pm for a drink and a bite to eat.
