Patients and staff spread Christmas joy

With the help of a cheerful elf, patients at Tower Ward in Clacton and activity coordinators, Kelly Howgate and Angie Moore displayed their artistic skills to spread Christmas cheer.

Kelly and Angie created a snowman for the ward’s garden. It was made from car tyres that were kindly donated by Kwik Fit, Clacton on Sea branch.

Patients also helped to make a Christmas tree for the visitor room and put up another tree in the main lounge.

They are looking forward to celebrating the festive season by singing carols, playing games, and enjoying delicious food prepared by the team, as well as a Christmas party on 14 December.

Tower Ward is based at the Landermere Centre at Clacton and District Hospital and is one of our older people inpatient services.
