Public Board Meeting
Everyone is welcomed to attend a meeting of the Board of Directors of Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) at 10:30am on Wednesday 25 October 2017 at The Lodge, Lodge Approach, Wickford, Essex, SS11 7XX.
There will be a presentation from the Adult and Paediatric Diabetic Nursing Team who will give an overview of the service. The nurses will talk about treatment plans for newly diagnosed children and the new insulin pump service in South East Essex.
The Diabetes Nursing service works closely with the acute trust to care for adults, children and young people with Type One Diabetes.
The Board Meeting will also include an update about quality and operational performance, assurance, risk and systems of internal control, regulation and compliance and the strategic objectives of the Trust.
Those who attend will get the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the meeting.
EPUT was formed on 1 April 2017 following the merger of North Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (NEP) and South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (SEPT) providing community health, mental health and learning disability services for a population of approximately 2.5 million people throughout Bedfordshire, Essex, Suffolk and Luton.
As an NHS Foundation Trust, EPUT is run locally, not by Government, and must work closely with the local community to develop services in a way that best suits the needs of local people.
If you are over the age of 12 you are eligible to become a member of the Trust. You can join by calling the membership office free on 0800 023 2059 or register online
