Recruitment Open Day for Healthcare Professionals and Armed Forces Community

Healthcare professionals and ex-Armed Forces personnel are being invited to a recruitment open day by Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) on Saturday 3 November 2018 (10:30am to 2:30pm). The open day will be at the Orchard Unit, St Margaret's Hospital, Epping, Essex, CM16 6TN. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.

The day will also see EPUT launch its Step into Health Campaign, a nationwide initiative to provide career development and opportunities for the Armed Forces Community.

EPUT has pledged its support for this campaign and is inviting anyone from the Armed Forces Community that are interested in catering, maintenance, administration, finance, communications, management, or a role in one of the clinical services to attend on the day and speak to our team about how we can help you achieve your next career goals.

EPUT is a newly established Trust with a CQC rating of “Good” and we are looking for more clinical staff to join us in our Community and Mental Health Services across Epping, Saffron Walden and Harlow. The Trust would like to hear from nurses, doctors, medical students and former military personnel who may be interested in pursuing a career in the NHS.

There will be free parking at the main public car park at St Margaret’s Hospital. Once you have parked, go to the main reception and ask for directions to the Orchard Unit.

There will be free refreshments and all attendees will be entered into our free raffle.

If you are looking for a job or your next career move, then come along to EPUT’s recruitment open day and find out what we have to offer.

On the day, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be interviewed and offered a job there and then;
  • Meet with our training team to talk about career development and training opportunities;
  • Talk with our Employee Engagement team about staff benefits and support systems;
  • Find out about potential vacancies, the recruitment process and what to expect when you apply for a post at EPUT;
  • Chat with our clinical representatives who will talk about their experiences in the Trust and give you information about our different wards and services.

Katie Keen, Deputy Director of HR and Communications said: “We are particularly looking for bands 5 and 6 clinical professionals to join us. We want to hear from enthusiastic and motivated individuals who want to make a difference to patient care. In return, we offer flexible working, a wide range of staff benefits, career development and training opportunities. Come along to our recruitment open day and there could be a job here for you.”
