SEPT Says ‘Thank You’ For The Dedication of Its Volunteers

South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (SEPT) held a special ‘Volunteers Lunch’ thanking each and every one of its dedicated volunteers for the extraordinary contribution they make in supporting the Trust’s services and its patients.

The event took place at the Trust Headquarters in Wickford, and was attended by over twenty of its volunteers. The Volunteers were invited to attend a lunch to thank them for the time they dedicate to helping the Trust, and invaluable support they have given to its patients.

The Trust’s Chair, Lorraine Cabel and CEO, Sally Morris, presented each of the Volunteers with a certificate of recognition for the work they have done for the Trust.

CEO Sally Morris said “Volunteers make a huge impact to the day to day functioning of the Trust and are a priceless asset to SEPT.

“Our volunteers work in gardens, shops, sit on committees and interview panels, they help with befriending, feeding and reading to our patients, in fact, there is very little that they do not do in their desire to help. The Volunteers that work with us do much to enrich the lives of others bringing fresh ideas, enthusiasm and a caring spirit.

“We are always on the lookout for new volunteers and welcome anyone who wishes to join us to get in touch with the Volunteering Team”.
