Spring COVID-19 boosters available at walk-in clinics in Halstead and Wickford
This spring, the NHS is once again offering the COVID-19 vaccine to those who are at highest risk of getting seriously unwell if they catch the virus.
If you are aged 75 or over or if you have a weakened immune system, then you can now top up your protection and book your vaccine.
Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is holding walk-in vaccination clinics in Halstead and Wickford in April:
- Tuesday 23 April, 10am to 2pm, the Coach House, Trinity Street, Halstead, CO9 1JD
- Thursday 25 April, 8.30am to 4pm, The Lodge, Lodge Approach, Wickford, SS11 7XX
- Saturday 27 April, 8.30am to 4pm, The Lodge, Lodge Approach, Wickford, SS11 7XX
- Monday 29 April, 10am to 2pm, the Coach House, Trinity Street, Halstead, CO9 1JD
- Thursday 2 May, 8.30am to 4pm The Lodge, Lodge Approach, Wickford, SS11 7XX
- Saturday 4 May, 8.30am to 4pm, The Lodge, Lodge Approach, Wickford, SS11 7XX
- Thursday 9 May, 8.00am to 2pm, The Lodge, Lodge Approach, Wickford, SS11 7XX
- Saturday 11 May, 8.00am to 2pm, The Lodge, Lodge Approach, Wickford, SS11 7XX
Appointments are also available to book at The Lodge via the National Booking Service. These clinics are currently for eligible people aged 18 and over.
Other ways to book your jab
If you are aged 75 and over or have a weakened immune system, there are lots of convenient ways to book your COVID-19 vaccine this spring.
You can book your COVID-19 vaccine through the NHS App or on the NHS website, which also lists walk-in sites across the country that you can visit without an appointment.
