Stuart Bingham World Snooker Champion 2015 Visits Brockfield House

Stuart Bingham, the new 2015 World Snooker Champion, recently paid a visit to patients at South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust’s (SEPT) Brockfield House, in Wickford.

Brockfield House is a medium secure hospital treating patients between the age of 18 and 65 with a variety of mental health conditions. The visit was planned after Andy Ward, Clinical Nurse Specialist asked if Stuart Bingham would come for a visit, to meet some of the patients.

Patients and staff were delighted to have the opportunity to meet and congratulate Stuart on his magnificent achievement of becoming the new World Snooker Champion for 2015. Stuart brought along the trophy he was awarded when he became the new World Snooker Champion just over a month ago and was happy for each of the patients to hold the trophy whilst having their photo taken. Some of the patients also had the opportunity to take on the new World Snooker Champion in a friendly game of pool.

Andy Ward, Clinical Nurse Specialist commented “We would like to thank Stuart for visiting Brockfield House. The patients thoroughly enjoyed the event and are very proud to be able to say they have met a world snooker champion!”
