Children's Immunisation and Vaccination team - Essex
Summary
The Immunisation and Vaccination team consists of Registered Nurses and support staff.
The team works in partnership with schools and the local authorities to deliver the commissioned school aged based Immunisation Programme to all children attending schools (State and Independent) and young people who are home educated, across Essex

Service Information
This service is delivered through the Healthy Child Programme and in addition to delivering the immunisations; the team are able to provide parents, children and staff with information and support to make healthy choices, which will enhance a child or young person’s health and wellbeing.
We also run the specialist BCG service for those babies/young children that are eligible.
