Our Dementia care homes, Clifton Lodge and Rawreth Court are managed by Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust we specialise in providing flexible long and short-term care packages tailored to the specific needs of every resident staying with us.

Service Information

We are a nursing home that helps to ensure that someone with Dementia is receiving all the support they need to live as full a life as possible.

Our team of highly experienced, compassionate health professionals treat all residents as individuals and are experts at caring for people with challenging health conditions. Each person has a unique care plan as well as a named carer and named nurse.

We provide exceptional personal care in peaceful, modern surroundings to ensure our residents enjoy the best possible quality of life. We want to make sure that our care homes feels safe and comfortable for the people we support, people feel more secure and comfortable if they have personal or familiar items around them. If you are thinking of bringing any items to the care home, we ask that you please speak to the Care Home Manager or a member of staff first to ensure we meet particular health and safety guidelines.

Dementia care home activities

The home has the support of an Activity Coordinator and Therapy Assistant that assist in providing formal therapeutic activities on the home.  These include social and skill maintenance groups and one-to-one support to engage in meaningful or relaxing activities, based on someone’s hobbies, interests and strengths.

We have a physiotherapist in our team who completes full assessment of the residents mobility and supports them to maintain their independence as long as possible. They facilitate group and individual activities which are dementia friendly and focused on residents abilities and interests.

Visiting

We welcome and encourage family and friends coming to visit loved ones, we do not mind when you would like to come, but please do just let us know in advance.  We like to ensure that visiting is a quality experience in comfortable surroundings.

Children under the age of 16 are welcome to visit the home however if you would like to bring children to visit please speak to a member of staff In advance prior to the visit so a suitable room can be booked for you.
