Employment Services

Our team provides employment support to people experiencing poor mental health throughout Essex. Our services are delivered in partnership with the charity Employ-Ability.

Our specialists have a great deal of experiencing in supporting people realise their employment goals, whether that’s finding paid employment or help to retain employment if their mental health is causing issues at work. We work on a one to one basis with people to provide the support that is needed by the individual and we are recognised as a National Centre of Excellence for delivering IPS Services (Centre for Mental Health).

EPUT directly provide the service in North East and Mid Essex. We work in partnership with the charity Employ-Ability who provide the service in West, South East ,South Essex and Southend on our behalf.

Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Specialists service

We are specialists in supporting people who have experienced mental and physical illness to find employment at a pace that works for them.

We will work with you to identify, secure and retain paid employment. Helping you to decide what type of work suits your interests, skills & experiences and your individual support needs by putting together an action plan.

Employment Retention Service

Our retention specialists support people living in the Essex County Council areas excluding Southend and Thurrock whose ongoing mental or physical health illness is affecting their ability to carry out their work.
