Service Information

The team provides tailored care across a multidisciplinary team which includes nursing, psychology, medical and occupational therapy as well as other associated interventions. We carry out assessments using both pharmacological and psychological treatments while monitoring the patient’s progress and recovery. A personalised care plan is created with the patient. This is used to  agree appropriate goals and build upon coping strategies to create a safe and supported return to an appropriate setting.

The unit operates in a least restrictive way to engage patients with rehabilitation and provide the best opportunities for recovery. Families and carers are very important to us and are involved in care planning and interventions where appropriate.
