Adult Mental Health Teams: Recovery and Wellbeing Team, Rayleigh
Due to essential building repairs, services provided at the Coombewood Centre in Rayleigh are being temporarily moved to alternative locations or held virtually. We are working to minimise disruption to service users, and those affected will be contacted directly by their clinical teams so that they can continue to access their care. Summary
Our Community Mental Health Teams are split into;
- First Response: Basildon
- Recovery and Wellbeing: Basildon, Brentwood, Canvey Island, Rayleigh, Southend-On-Sea, Grays
- Access and Assessment: Chelmsford, Harlow, Colchester
Newly referred patients will be seen for assessment by the First Response Team, who will treat patients for a period of up to six months.
People who require support for longer will be treated by the Recovery and Wellbeing Teams.
Access and Assessment This is the single point of entry into the Trust’s services for those 18 and over who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health conditions.
Service Information
The Recovery and Wellbeing Team provide long term support and care planning across health and social care. They will help you to access resources to enable your recovery through community based ongoing assessment and treatment.
The team will also provide support to your GP, family and carers so they understand more about your condition and can support you as best as they can in the longer term
Who is in the team?
The team is made up of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, employment specialists and support workers.
