Our psychiatrists specialize in diagnosing, treating, and preventing mental health conditions. They are qualified to prescribe medication and provide therapy and:

Our Trust was one of the first few mental health trusts to be approved by the General Medical Council (GMC) to sponsor an international programme.
The scheme was launched in June 2021 and 33 doctors have so far been appointed from a wide range of countries, including Egypt, India, Sudan, Nepal, Nigeria and Pakistan.
There are currently 29 working across the Trust, and many attended their first in person engagement event on Friday 12 January to reflect on their personal experiences and find out more about training and development opportunities.

- Registered with the General Medical Council and for Consultant positions also be on the Specialist Register
