Four meetings a year are held at the Trust Head Office in Essex. Members of the public, service users and patients are welcome to observe part one of Council meetings.
These meetings provide Governors with the opportunity to represent their local communities, and working together to advise and influence how we develop and deliver safe quality services. This means discussing topics such as major new service developments, the annual report and accounts, and how members are being recruited and kept informed.
Comments and questions from the floor are discussed at the end of the meeting.
The next meeting of the Council of Governors will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams. If you would like to observe the meeting use the following link:
When clicking the link, you will be asked to enter the meeting as a Guest and will need to enter your name when prompted. You will be placed into a virtual lobby and a member of the Trust Secretary’s Office will let you into the meeting. If you intend to observe the meeting as a member of the public, please can we ask that you remain on “mute” throughout the meeting and you will be invited to speak at the end of the meeting to provide any comments or questions.
